About Us

Connect Bridge is a student-designed platform developed at LaGuardia Community College for the Spring 2025 Hackathon. Our mission is to reimagine the student career experience by bridging the gap between students and the professional resources they need to succeed.

While the project was initially inspired by the unique challenges faced by international students—such as navigating unfamiliar systems, limited access to mentorship, and barriers to opportunity—our goal is to serve all students, regardless of background.

Through features like internship matching, mentorship connection, career resource hubs, and a collaborative support network, SmartCampus Connect aims to improve career readiness, boost student engagement, and expand access to professional development opportunities across campus.

This project reflects our commitment to an inclusive and empowered academic community—where every student has a clear pathway to professional success.
